Simple Vanilla Treats for Fall Baking

Vanilla cupcakes - These are a classic and so easy to make. Just mix together flour, baking powder, salt, butter, sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes. Top with vanilla buttercream frosting.

Vanilla chai lattes - Simmer black tea with spices like cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla. Froth some milk and pour it over the spiced tea. Sweeten with honey or sugar as desired.

Vanilla pear crisp - Slice pears and toss with lemon juice, flour, cinnamon, and sugar. Pour into a baking dish and top with a vanilla oat topping. Bake at 350°F until the pears are tender and topping is crisp.

Vanilla pumpkin bread - Make a quick bread by mixing together pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil, vanilla, and dry ingredients like flour, baking powder, cinnamon, etc. Bake at 350°F for about 1 hour.

Vanilla roasted sweet potatoes - Toss sweet potato wedges with olive oil, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar. Roast at 400°F until tender.

Vanilla overnight oats - Mix together oats, milk, vanilla, and your desired toppings like fruit, nuts, or nut butter. Chill overnight and enjoy for breakfast.
